一、主要研究内容

1人多功能干细胞定向分化肝细胞、造血干细胞、血小板及其机理研究,干细胞在组织器官的功能修复与替代的作用,干细胞源的功能细胞在生物医药的应用。

2基于人多能干细胞的类器官的构建和应用,构建了人胚胎干细胞来源的肝祖细胞类器官、成熟肝细胞类器官、造血类器官、胸腺类器官及肿瘤干细胞来源的肝癌血管化的类器官。

3肿瘤干细胞的转化机理及其在临床上促发肿瘤发生发展、转移和复发中的作用研究,研制新一代包括清除肿瘤干细胞的癌症治疗方法究。

    利用干细胞培养技术,建立了在体外克隆化培养肿瘤干细胞且维持其干性的技术;这一技术有助于从临床样品中建立人类主要恶性肿瘤的肿瘤干细胞库,这对肿瘤的发生发展、转移和复发、清除肿瘤干细胞(肿瘤的种子细胞)的基础和临床研究具有重要意义。

4基于干细胞或基于干细胞产物的体内组织和体外组织损伤修复和再生

 

二、实验室PI介绍

    段玉友, 202211月担任华南理工大学附属第二医院特聘研究员、硕/博士生导师、博士后合作导师,干细胞与转化医学实验室PI。曾在华南理工大学医学院(生命科学研究院)担任特聘研究员(2017-2022)、美国加州大学戴维斯分校担任副教授、助理教授、项目科学家、职员研究员、博士后研究员(2000-2017)、康奈尔大学任职博士后研究员(1999-2000)。1988年至2004年在美国康奈尔大学、加州大学戴维斯分校、扬州大学从事教学和科研工作,研究主要从事肿瘤病毒、传染性病原研究,包括致病机制、病原诊断及检测、疫苗研制及疾病预防。自2002年始至今,在加州大学戴维斯分校、华南理工大学、华南理工大学附属第二医院从事教学和科研,研究主要从事干细胞再生医学、转化医学、肿瘤干细胞生物学、肝脏疾病及再生、组织损伤修复和组织工程、生物信息在生物医药的应用等方向的研究

回国任职以来主持国家重点研发项目课题1项、国家重点研发项目子课题2项,曾作为主持人、共同主持人承担美国NIH、加州再生研究所(CIRM)、国际合作项目、加州大学戴维斯分校基金等多项课题。在GastroenterologyJournal of NanobiotechnologyStem Cell Research and TherapyLiver International等期刊发表论文80余篇。曾加州大学戴维斯分校医务系统优秀成果奖,教育部科技进步二等奖,江苏省科技进步四等奖,江苏省高等学校优秀青年骨干教师称号等。二十多个SCI杂志审稿人,中国实验动物小型猪专业委员会委员,广东省医学会细胞治疗分会委员会委员。
